  • Murchison Falls National Park

   Paara safari lodge

Located in Murchison falls national park in the north west of Uganda. The 40 meters wide River Nile, on its journey from its source at Lake Victoria to join Lake Albert, is suddenly compressed into a gorge only six meters wide, and cascades into a boiling pot 43 meters below. The earth literally trembles at Murchison falls, one of the world's most powerful flows of natural water. Like most Uganda safari lodges, paraa lodge offers facilities such as lounge, bar, restaurant, swimming pool, natural gardens in a beautiful landscape.     Nile safari camp
Nile safari lodge was established in 1993 and is located on the edge of the Victoria Nile in Murchison Falls National Park, amongst rich papyrus forest. The lodge has got 12 bed rooms of which include ensuite tented accommodation and spacious log cabins, strategically set to enable magnificent views of the Nile and has got an open fire to keep you warm all night long.
The camp has six chalets made of wood, rope and stone and and six luxury tents, all with en suite showers, flush toilets and comfortable, airy rooms with electrical lighting.    Primate Lodge camp
It’s a luxury Tented Camp, consisting of eight unique safari tents in African style. The tents are raised on a wooden platform, with a private veranda overlooking the forest. Each of them is tastefully decorated in African style, with comfortable twin beds, large windows and en-suite bathroom. There also renovated cottages with verandas and spacious bed rooms and occasionally monkeys pass by. Food stuffs are served at the customer’s request.

Kampala is the capital city of Uganda and serves as both the commercial and administrative town of Uganda. There is a high number of visitors coming in and out on a daily basis, and these include business travelers, leisure travelers and participants at various workshops and conferences. This 5 star hotel is a major conference  venue in Kampala, located in the heart of the city. Very busy with conferences through out  the year and probably very convenient for the business traveler.

Sheraton hotel is part of the starwood hotel worldwide hotel chain and formerly owned by the Government of Uganda under the names of Apollo Hotel, having been built in the 60′s. This 5 star hotel attracts both the leisure traveler and business travelers, its also very familiar with locals and perfect venue for cocktails and wedding ceremonies considering its very beautiful gardens.

Kampala Serena Hotel

This actually the best and most expensive hotel in Kampala. Its part of the Serena group of hotels and its 5 star quality and services are unquestionable. The hotels sits on a large piece of land with remarkable landscaping work and water fountains all over. Serena hotel is also a familiar spot for diplomats, head of states and government officials holding one meeting after another. Great place to stay for the luxury traveler.

Cassia Lodge

The Cassia Lodge is a relatively new property onto the Uganda hotel scene, however its a favorite for tourists who usually love the safari style kind of accomodations. The hotel is nestled right at the top of Buziga hill appx 15 km from Kampala city centre and boosts of very beautiful scenary and views of both lake victoria and the surbubs of kampala. The hotel has got a swimming pool and fairly priced. Highly recommended for mid range tourists.

This is part of the imperial group of hotels and its  a 4 star located right in the city centre. The hotels is suitable for business travelers due to its ideal location, one can easily hop from one meeting to another with no delays and no need for a cab or taxi.  Uganda’s major international airport is the Entebbe International Airport located in Entebbe Town. Entebbe is approximately 40 Km from Kampala City center. This is another luxury hotel located on the shores of lake Victoria  just 10 minutes from the Entebbe Airport. The hotel boasts of over 200 deluxe rooms, swimming pool and private beach to make the guest’s stay as comfortable as possible.


Central Inn Entebbe

Now here is a very convenient hotel for the budget traveler, Central Inn is located 5 minutes from the Airport offering very decent accommodation and complementary airport transfers, whether in transit between flights, late arrival or early morning departure, this is an ideal choice.
